Holiday Adopter Program 2017

Be a “Holiday Adopter,” Help a family in need this holiday season!

holiday_adopter_program_imageAdopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is dedicated to strengthening families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services.

We are looking for Holiday Adopters for our families as they work towards self-sufficiency. Donated money and gift certificates will be given to the family.

Choice is something families in need rarely have. You can empower a family through your donation so they can purchase the items they want and need the most.

OR

You can purchase gifts directly from the family’s wish list. You can choose to meet the family and personally deliver the gifts or make arrangements to have Adopt-A-Family do it for you.

For both options, we recommend a donation of $75-$100 per person in the family. Delivery of gifts must be completed by December 16, 2016 unless otherwise stated.

Our receipt of your completed donor form will be confirmation of your program participation. Family profiles matched to your donation preferences will be faxed or emailed to you in November, 2016.

Email your completed donor form to mevangelista@aafpbc.org or fax to 561-253-1370.

Questions? Please call Maria Evangelista at 561-253-1361, ext. 107 or email mevangelista@aafpbc.org.

Please help and bring holiday joy to a family in need.

Santa Shoppe 2017

Santa_Shoppe_picture_for_new_websiteSanta Shoppe will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2017.

On this particular Saturday, 300 children and their families (current clients of the agency) are invited to attend a special holiday party. In addition to lunch for all in a festive atmosphere, each child receives a personalized gift ($30 value) from Santa, poses for pictures with him, and joins in craft activities. In order to truly experience the spirit of giving, the children are paired up with personal shoppers to select free gifts for their parents and siblings.

These items are taken to the wrapping room, so the element of surprise is preserved until the special day arrives.

If you have quetions, contact our Santa Shoppe Coordinators:  Christina Hewitt (chewitt@aafpbc.org) and Odet Rodriguez (orodriguez@aafpbc.org).
